The main objective of the Holy Heart Foundation is to promote the social and economic welfare of vulnerable communities. Specifically, the foundation focuses on addressing issues related to gender-based violence, trauma resulting from rape, early school dropout among girls, mental health care for victims, poverty alleviation through job creation, and the overall promotion of social welfare, including the well-being and development of children born to victims. Work to enhance the well-being of vulnerable communities socially and economically
1. Fighting gender-based violence
The Holy Heart Foundation is dedicated to combating gender-based violence through a multifaceted approach. This includes providing training sessions and campaigns in schools, families, and public spaces. The foundation actively engages in training teachers (Patrons) on recognizing and addressing gender-based violence within the schools it collaborates with. Additionally, efforts extend to the media, with initiatives to select and train journalists in effectively reporting on gender-based violence issues. Youth competitions are organized to enhance awareness and understanding of gender-based violence practices, involving young girls and boys through school clubs at the primary and secondary levels. The foundation further conducts conferences and workshops on gender-based violence, employing oral, video lessons, and presentations to mobilize individuals, schools, families, and communities. These initiatives aim to cultivate gender-based violence activists and raise awareness about the issues while proposing resolutions for measures to protect against gender-based violence.
2. Fighting trauma
Fighting trauma based on rape through conversations, games and entertainment, thereby helping the traumatized person to come out of the intense pain caused by the abuse. In dealing with trauma, some techniques such as art therapy, games, songs, and others will be used. Art therapy activities: In expressive arts therapy, each client is encouraged to use multiple forms of creative expression to articulate their inner world, including drawing and painting, photography, music, drama and role-play, poetry, prose, and dance and movement.
3. To promote education
To promote education, especially for girls who get pregnant early and drop out of school. As the Foundation will encourage girls to return to school and provide basic support to help them return to school.
5. Poverty alleviation
We will focus on creating small jobs that generate income for our beneficiaries and thus improve themselves and their families and the country.
4. Health promotion
The Holy Heart Foundation is committed to nurturing the overall well-being of individuals affected by gender-based violence. This includes prioritizing mental health care for victims and extending support to the children born to them, ensuring their growth in a balanced manner—mentally, socially, physically, and emotionally. The foundation's health promotion initiatives encourage beneficiaries to adopt a healthy lifestyle by emphasizing regular exercise, abstaining from substance abuse, maintaining adequate sleep, and making positive social choices. Moreover, the foundation facilitates counseling sessions conducted by mental health professionals to aid victims in recovering from the trauma of gender-based violence. Additionally, the foundation organizes recreational activities designed to provide a respite for victims, helping them break free from isolation and fostering a sense of community and support.
6. Promoting social welfare
We will pay special attention to the nutrition of children born to the victims and educate their parents to prepare a healthy diet, educate them to vaccinate their children, raise them well and train them in good manners at a young age.
